“Hall of Fame” Running Locations
Traveling and running are two of my biggest passions. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of running in some of the most beautiful areas of the world. I’ve run over 18,000 miles throughout 20+ countries.
This is a “running list” of my personal “hall of fame”: the best locations I’ve ever run.
My Criteria:
Location: “Location” is a loose description. This can be a trail, or a town, or general area. I try to be as specific as possible.
Factors: The main factors I consider:
1. Natural beauty
2. Would others enjoy this as much as I do?
Unbiased Approached: I’ve done epic runs that are special for personal reasons, but if the location wouldn’t be viewed in high regard by others, I omit from my list.
Hiking vs Running: While I’ve hiked in many places around the world, I try to keep this list running focused. You can hike many of the trails I’ve listed, but I don’t include routes that un-runnable due to steepness or technicality.
The list is ordered by date.
